I have given much thought to the idea that I am "lazy" as a parent. I have tossed it around and believe I have settled with the thought- I am not lazy; I am a momma to soon-to-be two year old triplets! I allow them more freedoms than I would have if I had only one child at this age - a decision that was made for my sanity. In preserving my sanity, there are some insane moments (moments I treasure, oddly enough). I hope you enjoy the insanity of this video! Of course, I was only able to capture the ending of their rampage through the trash. I am never quick enough!
This is not trash, by the way. Well, it is the recycling bin and we wash all the containers before throwing them in the bin. Sorry about the video quality and sound. Savannah mimics all our words now and she was repeating "triplets" and Sophia immediately started squealing, "Cheese mommy." They love the camera!

I know what you mean!!! I am a lot more lenient with the trio than I ever was with the older two. I wouldn't call it lazy parenting, I call it triplet parenting. You gotta learn to pick your battles and if playing in the recycling keeps them quiet and occupied for 10 minutes then I say let them have at it. LOL!
I feel ya girl! I say the same thing to myself evryday...I do agree we HAVE to pick our battles. After all we are outnumbered!
Cute video!
Thanks girls! I know a few fellow trip mommas would understand that internal battle! :) I am certain some mommas wonder "Why does she let her kids do whatever they want?" To that I say, you have no idea how many time-outs and no's are said here each day. I do pick my battles! As long as they are not hurting anyone or destroying our home I am happy!
